Getting to Birmingham:

-The nearest airport is Detroit Metro Airport (DTW).

-Downtown Birmingham is approximately 33 miles from DTW. The drive from DTW to Birmingham is roughly 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic.

-We suggest taking an Uber or Lyft from the airport, since once you arrive in Birmingham, everything is walkable. If you'd still like to rent a car, go for it!

Staying in Birmingham:

-Two room blocks have been reserved:

1. A block of rooms has been reserved at The Daxton Hotel (the wedding venue).

2. An additional block of rooms has been reserved at a nearby hotel, the newly renovated Holiday Inn Express Birmingham (still walking distance to the wedding venue).

**If you plan to check-in prior to July 11 or check-out after July 13, please call the hotel directly.**

**Due to limited availability, we encourage everyone to book accommodations as early as possible to secure the group rate.**

Parking at The Daxton:

-Valet parking, including tips, will be provided on the evening of the wedding. Please allow ample time for valet, as The Daxton is on a busy, main street in Downtown Birmingham. Use the private event entrance for valet parking that is to the right of the main Daxton entrance.

-If you choose, there are two close parking structures available: one with an entrance on 222 Peabody Street, and one with an entrance on 333 Pierce Street.
