Sam and I met when we were 3 years old, now thats a story in itself. When him and I were younger we used to follow each other around, and he especially got upset when I caught a bigger fish than him. We always have had some connection to each other, but the best things come to people who wait! After 14 long years, Sam finally asked me out on a date. Of course I said Yes of course!!! I only had been waiting for 11 years. We went on our first date to the movies and bonefish grill, now that was a fun date because he said will you be my girlfriend?!! Then as time went on we grew closer and closer together and we knew what we wanted and that was to spend together forever!! Our story didnt end there I went on and graduated high school and he was still fighting fires for a living. I then decided it was best for me to focus on getting into nursing school, and we continued to keep in communication during all of that. We decided what we wanted was for real and we started talking about marriage. He then went and picked out a ring, he picked it up on 9/8/23 (aka my 20th birthday), and he proposed on 9/10/23 in the mountains at our spot.
