New Beginnings

Brandon and Shelby met the old fashioned way, online dating in 2023. This was his first encounter with Shelby’s fur baby, Darla. She approved!

Our First Date

Their first date was on January 7th, 2023, in Dahlonega, GA. They went on a picnic with no cell service...interesting call, but it worked out. This was taken a couple dates later on.

Our First Trip

Their first ever trip was to Pensacola, Florida. They learned their lesson of wearing sunscreen after burning like chicken nuggets.

Brandon's First Wilder Family Vacation

Brandon endured his first Wilder family beach trip in July 2023. He quickly learned the ways of Shelby's older brother, Johnny, who is an expert in beaching. Shelby's niece, Charlie, fell in love with Uncle Brandon. Johnny and his wife Sarah have created a new Wilder tradition--an annual PCB beach trip!

Our First Time Traveling Out of the Country

Brandon and Shelby went on the Wonder of the Seas in September 2023. They had a blast soaking up the Carribean sun and binge eating buffet foods.

Brandon's First Camp Meeting

Brandon met Shelby's extended family and attended his first of many Camp Meeting weekends in June 2023. No AC was an adjustment, but he sweat it out for Shelby.

Shelby's First Bauer Family Trip

Our First Move

Shelby and Brandon decided to move to Dawsonville, GA. They love sitting out on the back porch, watching tv, going on walks in the neighborhood, and attending their local church on Sundays.

The Proposal

Brandon proposed to Shelby on May 11th, 2024. What Shelby believed was just an average picnic with friends, turned into one of the greatest days of her life. Brandon surprised Shelby with her best friend, Lauren flying out from Michigan and some of her best friends coming together to throw them a say yes celebration. Her heart still flutters when she talks about that magical day.
