The entire reason we met was because of the dating app, Bumble. Shelly had almost given up on using the app & was contemplating deleting it again when her and Logan matched. She sent him a message & the sparks flew.
Our first date was mini golfing at Peter Pan mini golf, and then pizza at HomeSlice. We talked nonstop the entire time and felt like best friends. Ever since that day we’ve been best friends and haven’t stopped laughing or playing mini golf.
The day Logan asked Shelly to be his girlfriend he was really nervous. He brought her a single rose when he picked her up, so she knew something was going on. They spent the day on SoCo in Austin and ended up on the lookout at 360 Bridge. There, he finally got the nerve to ask and she made him sweat by pausing for awhile but laughed and said yes!
There’s gotta be something about overlooks that Logan loves because in February, he decided to take Valentine photos with Shelly and his photographer sister, Julia. Little did Shelly know, they had a plan up their sleeves. Logan would deny it but when he’s nervous, he’s not exactly the best driver...lol. He drove up to a lookout in Tahitian Village in Bastrop, Tx and they started taking pictures. Julia had Shelly stand in front of Logan and when Shelly turned around he was on one knee with a ring out. They both cried, laughed and the happiness still hasn’t faded to this day!
We can’t wait to see where life takes us & what kind of happy, fun memories we’ll make together along the way.
