Daniel and Sheridyn first met in April 2019. Daniel was living and working in Melbourne at the time, and Shez lived in Ringwood. One of Sheridyn's best friends introduced the couple on a night where Shez was enjoying a few lemon squashes. Ever since that night, Daniel and Sheridyn have been inseparable.

In May of 2019, Daniel and Sheridyn started their relationship together, with many introductions to family and friends. Daniel moved back to Harcourt for work and Shez remained in Ringwood. For several months, the couple travelled between the city and the country, which became somewhat exhausting. As a result, they made the decision to take the relationship to the next phase, buying a house and moving in together in December 2019.

As the months and years went by, Daniel and Sheridyn made their house a home, and welcomed Ted the border collie into their family. Ted and Pepper the cat have a love hate relationship, where Ted loves Pepper, but Pepper hates Ted.

Daniel and Shez have enjoyed several holidays together and often find themselves near the beach. Apollo Bay is one of many special places for them and was the first trip away together in 2019. Fast forward 5 years, the couple returned to Apollo Bay in January 2024, where all seemed normal (to Shez that is). Little did she know, Daniel had been planning a proposal for many months before.

It took some sneaky work, but Daniel managed to smuggle dozens of candles into the car and into the accommodation without Shez knowing. Daniel waited and managed to find some time away from Shez to set up the candlelight in the room overlooking the beach. This is when Sheridyn returned to the room and was greeted by something unexpected... The proposal!

Daniel and Sheridyn are grateful for the support of family and friends and can't wait to celebrate the start of the rest of their lives together.
