Some love stories feel like they were written long before the two people even meet, and ours is one of them. We first connected through a follow on social media 6 years ago but it wasn’t until we finally met in person on March 23 2023, that we truly felt as if we known each other for a lifetime. As soon as we locked eyes across the parking lot there was a mutual feeling of “I finally found you”and we knew we had stumbled upon something extraordinary. We hugged and at that moment it was as if all the missing pieces in our lives finally came together. Our connection was immediate, deep, and undeniable. We knew it wasn’t just the start of a relationship.. it was the beginning of a lifelong partnership.. filled with love and understanding and the kind of joy that can only come from knowing you’ve found your soulmate. After a year of dating and so many fun adventures.. Sherrene knew she wanted to make this a lifelong commitment and decided she was going to propose. She wanted the moment to be extra special and spent months planning every detail for an intimate picnic themed from our favorite travel destination, Sayulita. She disguised it as an anniversary photo shoot and completely caught Ashley by surprise! It was a moment filled with emotion and love and the overwhelming certainty that saying “yes” to each other was the easiest decision we would ever make. When we started planning our wedding, we envisioned getting married on 05/25/2025 to match the day that we first met but we quickly realized how popular that date was and how challenging it would be to secure it along with the perfect venue. While our date may have shifted, one thing remains unchanged: our love and our excitement to celebrate this new chapter in our lives. No matter the date, our wedding will be a reflection of everything we hold dear—a day filled with love and the promise to continue building a beautiful life together. It will be a celebration not just of our love story but of the journey we’re embarking on as partners, best friends, and soulmates and we are so excited to share it with you all.
