Six years ago, on February 28, 2018, amidst the bustling world of online connections, Jose and Sherri’s journey began. It all started on a dating app where two hearts, separated by distance but united by one goal- to find a meaningful relationship, found each other. After three years of building memories and strengthening their bond, Jose chose a picturesque moment at Avala Beach to propose. On the serene pier overlooking the tranquil waters (during COVID), he popped the question, and with overwhelming joy, Sherri said yes!

This love story is also about blending two families. Sherri has two daughters, Teija and Amaya, while Jose has his son, Anthony, and daughter, Olivia. In addition, they have three beautiful grandchildren, Violet and Amelia (from Anthony and his wife Brie), and Oliver (from Teija and her husband Shawn). Together, their children and grandchildren bring a radiant light to their lives, infusing each day with warmth and laughter.
