Sherry and Stan met in October of 2021 in San Diego. Stan was stationed out in San Diego and Sherry had been living there since grad school. Their first date was ice cream at Ghirardelli's in downtown San Diego and they have been together since.

Stan went on deployment from Fall 2022 to Summer 2023. Even though long distance was hard they made it work with text, face timing and Sherry even got to go visit him in Hawaii and Singapore.

Stan restationed back to Virginia in the beginning of 2024 and Sherry made the move across country to be with him. They bought a house in Suffolk, Virginia and started renovating and decorating the second they got there.

Stan proposed to Sherry that May in very Stan fashion at home eating dinner and watching TV and Sherry wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

Now they can't wait to take the next step and tie the knot! They are so excited for their loved ones to join them on this special day!
