Our Wedding

Royal and I met online and had our first date on May 17, 2019. Our wedding date is six years to the day of our first date! Royal has five kids and ten grandkids, all of whom live outside of California. He was in the Army for 25 years and has been with a Department of Defense Company for 20 years, imbedded with the Navy the entire time. Sherry has one child and two grandchildren, all of whom live two blocks away. Royal plays a lot of golf and Sherry does a lot of scrapbooking; we both feel it's important to spend time together, but to also have interests that are separate. Sherry couldn't hit a golf ball to save her life and Royal has no idea what's involved in scrapbooking (except that it has taken over an entire room in his house and that Sherry goes away frequently to scrap with her friends). We both share of love of sports, especially baseball. We love going to Padres games and taking the ferry to get to Petco Park. We are beyond thrilled for the two families to merge and for our friends to get together to help us celebrate!
