Sherry and I first met online at Christian Mingle. Shortly after displaying a mutual appreciation for each other's profile, we began to message each other in earnest. Our first in-person date which occurred on Notre Dame's Campus lasted for nearly 4.5 hours and was a smashing success.

Soon after, we started officially dating.

We found a lot to like about the other. And some stuff to not like. (Dan slurps his coffee and Sherry smacks her lips when she eats something scrumptious.)

Over the next few years we attended many fairs and festivals, gone on road trips, seen several concerts and performances, and shared our dreams with each other.

Through schooling, research, working, and occasional business trips, we continued to choose each other. On my birthday, September 24, 2023, I asked Sherry to marry me. She said yes.

Before or since no one has ever received a finer birthday present.

Life definitely did not slow down since then. With Sherry working on her PhD and Dan going back to school and moving into a new career, it's been hard to find a way to have time for each other. But we persist and move forward. We're so excited to finally tie the knot on June 29th! surrounded with our loved ones. Your presence would be the greatest gift, but we understand if you cannot attend.
