Hello, my name is Shevelle McPherson, and I met my husband, Robert, at the poker table. You wouldn't think that would be the best place to find love, but I have to say I wouldn't have it any other way.

As you probably know, I'm a professional poker table. I was playing at the Borgata at a 2-4 table, so decent money was being wagered. I noticed a very sharp looking man across from me, but as you know about me, all I cared about was taking everyone else's money lol.

Well, lucky for me, I was having a run. I got A-K a few times, and I river'd a few hands. It was going to be a good day. Then I got K-K. I raised it pre-flop, and the good-looking guy called. Okay. No big deal. I have the second best hand in poker. The flop came out 2, 3, 9. Obviously that was no help to him. I checked, and he made a bet. Here was my move. I raised him.

He smiled that smile that I have come to know very well. He re-raised me all in. What could he have? I was willing to bet to find out. I called. And he turned over Aces. I was so made that I left the table. As I was leaving the poker room. I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was the good looking man.

"Hello my name is Robert. Good hand there. Would you like to get a drink."

He was very good-looking. He seemed nice too. I did something that I'm not prone to doing. I gave in.

"Yes, but you're buying."
