FUN FACT: The picture above, is from our very first date on July 8th, 2022 at Frigates in North Palm Beach, Florida.

Our connection started in the most unexpected way — just a few minutes before closing time at a car dealership. Shiane had been browsing online when one particular listing caught her eye. It wasn’t the specs or the price that drew her in — it was something sentimental. The photos showed a Tweety Bird steering wheel cover and matching floor mats, just like the ones her late grandmother used to have. Something about it tugged at her heart, and she felt called to check it out — not realizing that decision would change her life forever.

Michael was the one who greeted her that evening. What started as a last-minute walk-in quickly turned into the beginning of something special — something bigger than either of us could have imagined.

Not long after, Michael booked a spray tan with Shiane. When she showed up at his house, he playfully called out, “Ma, the spray tan lady is here!” — a moment we still laugh about to this day. That lighthearted beginning led to an invite to Frigate’s Bar & Grill, where we ended up talking for hours. Everything felt so natural and easy — like we’d known each other for years.

From that very first date, it just felt right. There was honesty, comfort, and a deep sense of peace — it felt like home. Shiane even kept a journal of every date, every kiss, and every sweet memory from those early days — because deep down, she knew this was something rare and sacred.

Since then, our love has only grown — full of joy, laughter, and grace. We’ve always believed that God places people in our lives for a reason, and it’s clear to us that He brought us together with purpose. His timing has been perfect in every chapter of our journey, and His presence continues to guide us in our relationship and our future.

On January 1st 2025, Michael proposed on a breathtaking beach in Falmouth, Jamaica — the most magical moment during the most unforgettable week. Just a few months later, in April, we built and moved into our first home together — where we now live with our sweet pup Monte, who brings so much love and personality into our lives.

Now, as we prepare to say “I do” this November, we’re overwhelmed with gratitude for the story God is writing for us — one filled with laughter, faith, and the kind of love we always prayed for.
