Q + A

Is there a dress code for the event?

Yes, our wedding will be a glamorous mountain occasion. While this is a black-tie event, tsniut (modesty to Modern Orthodox standards) is not required.

Can I bring my kiddos?

As much as we would love to play and celebrate with all of your little ones, we are asking people to please not bring their children, and will handle exceptions on an individual basis depending on space.

Will there be a reception, and if so, where and when?

Everything will be at the Evergreen Lake House. Please see the schedule page.

Is there parking available at the venue?

The Evergreen Lake House Main Lot is the primary parking area off of Upper Bear Creek Road, and fits about 60 cars. However, it is a public parking lot and will remain open to the public for various other activities including fishing, hiking, and boat rentals. There is a smaller lot located on the North side of the lake along Colorado 74, as well as on the East side of the lake along Colorado 73. There is also overflow parking at the Wilmot Elementary School, which is 1.5 miles from the venue. We recommend carpooling and arriving early to ensure parking availability.

Where should I stay while I’m in town?

It depends! Please see the Travel page for our top recommendations.

What time should guests arrive for the ceremony?

See schedule page.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The venue has a deck facing the water, which is where the cocktail hour and ceremony will take place. The rest of the evening will be indoors.

What do I need to know about the altitude?

Evergreen is 7,350 feet above sea level. It is easier to get sunburnt at higher altitudes, and your alcohol tolerance will be reduced. You may experience some trouble sleeping. Please stay hydrated with water and electrolytes and wear sunscreen! Supplemental oxygen canisters are available at most convenience and large chain supply stores.

Can I bring a plus-one if I wasn’t explicitly invited with one?

No surprise guests or wedding crashers. If you want to bring a plus one, please talk with us several months in advance to see if we have space to accommodate.

Will the food be kosher?

Yes, the food is prepared by Rymone Catering under VAAD supervision, which is the highest level of kosher stringency to accommodate guests of all observance levels. We will serve both meat and vegetarian options. Anything else brought in that is not from Rymone Catering will be clearly labeled.

Is there a deadline to RSVP, and how should I do it?

The earlier, the better. Please RSVP as soon as you know. For our procrastinators, please RSVP no later than April 1, 2026 (Erev Pesach + April Fool’s Day). If you have received a Save the Date email and know you cannot make it, please let us know as soon as you can.

Is there a registry?

Yes! Check out our registry page.

Will transportation be provided?

Guests are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the venue. Please be safe and have a designated driver or get an Uber/Lyft!

I can’t make it. Will there be a livestream?

For our out-of-towners as well as family and friends in Israel, we will be setting up a livestream so you can still join the celebrations. Details to come.

How religious will the wedding be?

We will be incorporating some Modern Orthodox elements, while also staying true to who we are as people. You can expect a mechitzah to be present for a short portion of the dancing, as well as kosher food, and Jewish and secular music mixed. There is no tsniut dress code and men and women will be seated together unless otherwise noted.

What should I do if I have to cancel my attendance at the last minute?

100 pushups.
