Q + A

what date should we RSVP by?

We ask that guests RSVP by October 1st, 2026. This will give us time to confirm numbers with our vendors, as well as to make sure we have enough seats for everyone. However, if you RSVP before September 30th, you'll be able to help us choose beer and wine options for the bar. The top 2 choices will be available!

What Is The Dress Code?

For the ceremony, we ask that guests dress in semi-formal dark-colored clothing. Dresses, skirts, dress pants, dress shirts, or even jeans with a nicer shirt are all ok! Whatever you're most comfortable and confident in. However, we do recommend bringing some sort of outerwear as well, as Indiana weather can be unpredictable that time of year. For the reception, we invite guests to change into their best Halloween costumes!

Are Plus ones allowed?

If you do not already have more than one person listed under your party when you RSVP (e.g., families, couples), then yes, plus ones are allowed. We ask that you only invite one additional guest to help make sure we don't exceed venue capacity.

Are Children Allowed?

Yes, we are allowing kiddos to attend. All we ask is that parents make sure their little ones remain seated during the ceremony, as well as during special dances. Parents, please also be advised that songs with explicit lyrics may be played later in the evening as the dance party takes place.

Will There Be Alcohol?

Yes, alcohol will be served at the wedding. There will be wine, beer, and liquor available, as well as our own signature cocktails inspired by the Bride and Groom! Beer and the signature cocktails will be free to all guests over the age of 21. Wine, liquors, and other mixed drinks that are NOT the signature cocktails will be available for purchase (cash bar). Bring your forms of payment! Please make the proper accommodations if you plan to drink. The venue does allow guests to leave their cars overnight, as long as they are picked up by 9am the next morning. (Please note: We know this may seem like a weird system for what alcohol will be free vs. what will need to be paid for. We had to choose from specific packages provided by a specific alcohol vendor per the venue's regulations)

Are Photos Allowed During the Ceremony?

We ask that all cell phones, cameras, and other electronic devices stay put away and be silenced during the ceremony. Not only will this allow for minimum disturbances, but it will also allow our amazing photographers to do their best work without any devices getting in the way. We will share our photos with everyone after we receive them. However, photos are allowed during the reception.

What Halloween Activities Will Be Taking Place?

We are planning on hosting costume contests with prizes. One will be for the adults and one will be for the kids. Three winners will be selected for both contests. Winners will be picked based on "cutest," "scariest," and "silliest" costumes. Start planning those costumes now! We will be serving an array of Halloween-themed treats and candy. There will be an activity table with Halloween-themed crafts.

where are you registered for wedding gifts?

In lieu of physical gifts, we are asking that anyone able and willing to do so contribute to our honeymoon fund. This can be done by following the link listed on the home page. Or, scan the QR code provided on the home page.

Are guest accommodations available?

Yes, guest accommodations are available and can be found under the "travel" page, along with a few other resources. We are working on reserving blocks of rooms at a hotel or two.
