Alan & I started dating back in 2021. We had known each other through mutual friends for years, but throughout that summer, we would run into each other at BMX racing events for our kids.

We realized quickly that we had a lot in common but also have opposite personality types that meshed -- and our kids seemed to get along very well also!

After a short amount of time dating, Alan and I moved in together and blended our families. We stuck it out in a 3br, 2ba home for the 5 of us for a year before we bought a new house together on the outskirts of New Ulm.

Another year went by getting settled into our home and watching the kids grow up and do all the things. Marriage talk started happening! We decided to design a ring together at Patterson's Jewelers in Downtown New Ulm, and was hopeful for an engagement to come soon after that!

October 25th, 2024 approached for our family photo session with Alan's sister Jen, which turned out to be a surprise engagement! I was so happy all three of our children were a part of that special day, as life isn't whole without them. The kiddos, Alan & myself are overjoyed to make things officially official for our family.
