We grew up only a few minutes away from each other, about three minutes to be exact, but somehow never crossed paths. Lindsey went to public school, and Sidney went to private school, so our worlds ran parallel without ever really meeting.

The funny part is that Lindsey actually cheered for Sidney’s football team growing up. She was on the sidelines while he was out on the field, but at the time, neither of us had any idea that our future was standing just a few feet away.

Years later, everything changed when we finally met through a mutual friend. From the very beginning, the conversation was easy, the laughter came naturally, and there was an instant connection. It felt like we had known each other forever, even though it had taken us years to finally meet.
