Our journey begins with many video calls between each other from 800 miles apart, between Grass Valley, California and Spokane, Washington. When we met through a mutual friend, we hit it off immediately and found ourselves falling quick. As many people say: once you know, you know.

As the years flew by, we embarked on countless thrilling adventures, each step bringing us closer to our shared dreams. And then, just like that, we knew we were meant to be together, forever. It's the kind of love that's usually reserved for the silver screen, but we found it, and now we're wholeheartedly committed to nurturing it for the rest of our lives.

This is Diesel! He must be 15 years or older now, as he has been with Eli since he was a child. He is very friendly and scared of his own shadow, but he is loved dearly by both of us.

Our little family has gotten smaller, but we know they are still there, cheering us on from beyond.

Dr. Penguin was our amazing polydactyl cat, who we hope has decided to just go adventure on his own now.

Gidget was with Siena since she was 10, and lived a good, full life with her. She was playful, silly and a little bit protective, but a great childhood pet.

We will forever miss both of these sweet pets so much.
