Tyler and Siera were both students at Henderson State University, walking the same sidewalks and studying in the same buildings long before they ever knew each other. They passed each other more times than they could count—at the Garrison Center, in line at the Reddies Grill, even rushing to early classes—but their paths didn’t truly cross until a mutual friend invited them both to the same campus event.Siera remembers noticing Tyler first. He laughed at something someone said, and she thought it was the kind of laugh you feel before you hear. Tyler noticed Siera moments later—she had that mix of confidence and kindness that makes someone feel familiar even when you’ve never spoken.That night, they ended up talking for what felt like minutes but turned into hours. They compared class schedules, traded Henderson stories, and realized how many times their lives had almost overlapped. Before they went their separate ways, Tyler asked if he’d see her around campus again. Siera smiled and said, “Probably more than you think.”From then on, Henderson’s campus began to feel smaller in the best way. Study sessions at Huie Library turned into Chick-Fil-A dates. Walks across the Quad became their favorite way to unwind after long days. And before either of them said it out loud, everyone around them already knew—they had found something special.Henderson State brought Tyler and Siera together. The love they found there is what carries them forward now—hand in hand, ready for every chapter still to come.
