This love story began about 14 years ago in Las Vegas. Both Willie and Sierra were in town for a series of football games called the pigskin tournament. The couple first met at Circus Circus while in line for a ride. They were introduced to one another by a mutual friend. Willie and his friends were acting out while talking to Sierra so she exclaimed "my dad says he has a rusty bullet for guys like you!" Willie quickly responded "I'd take a bullet for you." Sierra tried to play it cool like she didn't believe him but she was smitten. Shortly after, Sierra left the ride area to aquire a ride wristband. With plans to meet up later, Sierra and Willie said their goodbyes then went their separate ways. Moreover, Sierra looked everywhere for Willie but she wasn't able to find him. She continued her search the next day by scouring through every game at the tournament but she had no luck.

Two years later. . . . .

As fate would have it, Willie and Sierra were both enrolled at Mount Miguel High School and placed into the same math class. One day Sierra walked into class late; she had been speaking with a counselor about switching to a more challenging course. Upon opening the door Sierra almost passed out when she saw Willie casually sitting in her class. Needless to say she didn't switch courses. Throughout the semester the two would share brief moments in the quad; but sometime before the end of freshman year Willie disappeared yet again.

12 years later. . . .

On October 28, 2018 Sierra was just living her best life when she realized Willie had replied to her instagram story . The conversion quickly turned into a trip down memory lane. Willie was smitten. The two began to speak to one another every single day.
On December 23, 2018 the couple met up in San Diego for the holidays and had their first date.
As time progressed Willie made arrangements for Sierra to visit him in Texas for Valentine's day. Together they shared a wonderful week exploring Austin. After flying back and forth between Los Angeles and Austin, Sierra considered Willie's compelling speech about moving to Texas. Sierra wasn't opposed to the idea so she looked into it and saw that there were a lot more opportunities for Dental hygiene school in Texas. Driven by her goals and love she decided to move to Houston a few months later.
On November 21, 2019 Willie made it clear that he wasn't going to disappear ever again. After a lovely dinner at Pearla's and a walk through Lou Neff Point, Willie got down on one knee and proposed to Sierra. Overjoyed, she said yes and the couple continued their walk enjoying the cascade of downtown lights shimmer across the lake.
