The old saying “the greatest moments in life happen when you least expect them” is the best way to sum up how we first met. Colby had been best friend’s with my cousin for YEARS and somehow we had never crossed paths.

That changed once I moved in with my cousin. I had already been living there a few years when he decided to get a pool table for our apartment and wanted to invite his friends over to play. I like to say God hand-delivered him to my front door. He was tall, handsome, and most importantly, holding a margarita bucket! We can’t tell you the exact moment or day we became a couple because it felt like we had always known each other right from the start. It was effortless and felt natural to be together. Most couples get a “honeymoon phase” at the start of the relationship but that was not the case for us. We actually had a really hard first year between battling COVID together, caring for sick family members, and changing jobs. However, no matter how hard it got or how scary the unknown was, we laughed and loved our way through all of it. Our engagement was a long time coming and was only made possible with the help of our close family and friends. We are beyond thrilled for this next chapter of our lives and cannot wait to share these special memories with those we love most!
