Sierra and Jared met while attending university in St. John’s - Sierra in her third year of business, Jared in his second year of biochemistry. They were introduced by a mutual friend, and after a first date over sushi (still one of their favourite meals), they quickly became inseparable. Sierra figured she’d never end up with a “bayman,” and Jared was convinced he’d be staying single through university, but that didn’t last long. Somehow, Jared living in a house with five other guys was a red flag Sierra chose to ignore, and before long, everything just clicked. Over the past 7.5 years, they’ve built a life filled with love, laughter, and the kind of small moments that matter most. They moved to Halifax and shared some of their favourite memories in their first apartment, a place they turned into a home. That chapter brought them even closer, especially during Covid, when everything felt uncertain. It’s also where they “innocently” adopted Matteo, only to discover they’d brought home a tiny little beast with a big personality. Against the odds, they made lifelong friends, built careers they love, and grew into the people they are today, together. They’ve moved provinces and returned, bought their first home, and supported each other through every up and down life has thrown their way. Now, surrounded by the family and friends who’ve been part of their story along the way, Sierra and Jared are ready to begin the next chapter: hand in hand, for a lifetime.

Flying - Deer Lake Airport is located about 40 minutes from Corner Brook.Please be aware of the rental car shortage in Newfoundland, book early! Driving - Take the Marine Atlantic Ferry from North Sydney to Port-Aux-Basques.
