When is the wedding?

Friday, June 21, 2024

When is the deadline to RSVP?

Please be sure to RSVP by May 1, 2024!!!

What's the deal, are you having a ceremony?

Yes, but we are keeping it small and intimate. We realize this excludes many people, but neither of us wanted a big wedding. We are still having a sizeable party/reception to celebrate, and we hope to see you there! We also understand that some people may not be able to make it for just a party, and that's OK! We hope everyone can understand and respect our decisions.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Respectfully, No. We are having an unplugged ceremony and request that you refrain from using your cell phone or taking cell phone photos during our ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer hired to capture our day.

Where is the reception/party?

We're having the reception at the home of our dear family friend, the Pantalones, who are very graciously hosting us in their backyard.

What's the dress code?

Garden party/pool party. Wear whatever you'll be comfortable in for a warm weather backyard celebration. Please feel free to bring a swimsuit to change into and please bring your own towel!

I'm coming in from out of town, where can I stay?

We have a block of rooms reserved at the Hyatt Place Detroit/Utica. The code to book one of these rooms is G-BOWG or mention the Onickel-Bienkowski Wedding. There are many hotels in the area, or if you're interested in staying at an airbnb, check in Rochester Hills, Troy, or Auburn Hills.

Can I bring my kids? Are kids invited?

The short answer is no. We are only able to accommodate the children that are part of our immediate family (i.e., immediate nieces and nephews). We love all of your kids, but we appreciate your respect and understanding.

Can I bring a plus one?

If that is indicated on your invite, yes! If that is not indicated on your invite, no! We've taken care to invite the family and friends closest to us and cannot accommodate extra guests.

Will you have an open bar?

Yes! Please be responsible.

What's for dinner?

Dinner will consist of smoked chicken and beef brisket, mac and cheese, baked beans, green beans and a garden salad. There will also be charcuterie served during cocktail hour. Dessert will consist of donuts and sheet cake.

Where do I park?

Street parking is available outside the house along the adjacent streets (Maurice Drive and Sawmill Creek Drive). This is a busy subdivision, so please be respectful and use common courtesy. Do not park in front of driveways, block cars in or disrespect the neighbors' property. To reduce the volume of cars on the street, we ask you to consider carpooling with other guests if at all possible.
