Our Wedding

Joseph and Sierra initially met during their first years at Smithfield High School in late 2017 when she was a sophomore, and he was a Freshman. It was a brief introduction, barely a conversation with a dry joke thrown in before attending band class, and nothing came of it. For the three years that followed, Sierra and Joseph unknowingly shared a few more classes. They attended each other's sports games and one Halloween party for mutual friends, but still never interacted beyond the confines of school. Their real meeting happened on January 5, 2024, on a Thursday evening, after she made yet another questionable, unprompted joke about a social media post of his. Only two or three messages were sent between them before Sierra informed a still very reserved Joseph that they were now friends, "whether you like it or not." Thankfully, he did like it and reciprocated the friendship with ease. Just under a month later, they became an official couple, and on New Year's Day 2025, Joseph proposed.

We would like our guests to follow a semi-formal dress code for our wedding. The vibe will be very cozy and rustic, with a mix of dark and light colors and wooded decor. Both the ceremony and reception will be in a church. We want to ask everyone to be mindful of this by dressing appropriately.Please do not wear jeans or shorts.
