Dan tells the story the best and we would be shocked if you have not heard this story in person yet.

Signe was 12 years old and Dan was 10. Dan came with his mom to the tanning salon where Signe's sister, Casey, was working at the time. Signe happen to be there hanging out while her sister was working. Dan's mom came to the front desk and said to Signe 'My son thinks you are just beautiful'. Boys had cooties at that time so nothing transpired from that interaction.

Flash forward 15 years and Signe reached out to Dan to get a cup of coffee on the Cape where they both grew up. They met at the Snowy Owl in Brewster and stayed well past closing hours catching up and reconnecting. At the time Dan was living and working on Nantucket and Signe was living and working in Boston. They spent the next year in both Boston and on Nantucket until eventually Dan made the move to the big city.

The piece that sealed their fate was how Signe's four legged son (Jackson) embraced Dan the moment they met. They became best friends instantly, arguably a little too close if you ask Signe. The 3 of them have been inseparable since.
