Our Wedding

Story of Gazi Sijan and Monalisa Mohidin It all started when Sijan organized a networking event for the Toronto Bengali Young Professionals group, a networking association he created to bring the community together. He definitely didn’t expect to meet his future wife there. Mona came to the event not knowing much about it, and Sijan, being the host, naturally went up to say hi. One conversation led to another, and something just clicked. They found themselves bonding over their similar values, love for their roots, and the ease with which they could talk to each other for hours. From their first date to several adventurous outings, road trips, late night chats, and one too many cups of chai, they both felt something special was unfolding. A few months later, surrounded by the Toronto skyline on a private yacht, Sijan asked Mona to marry him and she said yes! They’ve shared countless laughs, adventures, and late-night wedding planning since then, and they can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
