For years we both ran around the same towns, played the same sports, and knew the same people, sometimes being at the same place at the same time. After many trials and wrong turns, God saw the missing pieces in our lives and intervened at the perfect time.

After meeting for the first time (at a gym) we stood in a parking lot and talked for hours. We continued this schedule of going to the gym and talking late into the night in the parking lot. Anyone that knew me during that time knew I was absolutely head over heels for this guy.

For months we didn’t spend any free time apart. I met Silas’ family, including Creed and Maple, his children. There was never any hesitation and miraculously the melding of our lives was seamless. Everyone, of course, had a lot to learn but it was very much designed by God for our lives to work out the way they did. I’m so thankful screed and Maple accepted me and allowed to become an integral part of their lives so easily.

Here we are, 2.5 years later still absurdly and annoyingly obsessed with each other, finally getting married. We have fallen into the most chaotic routine and we wouldn’t change it for anything. Our walk with Christ has kept us rooted during the tougher times and made us a stronger.

The kids, 5 dogs, 3 cats, a mule, and a horse complete our hearts and continue to add to the excitement that life throws at us. We are more blessed than we deserve and are so grateful for all of the support our families have given us. We hope that you will join us to continue our story on July 20th, 2024.
