Aidan and Sinai met in Freshman year at Stetson University. Aidan was in a frat notorious for being full of nerds. Sinai was invited by her roommate to a Viking themed party. They both hit it off, and kept talking every time Sinai would come over to hang out! Then he asked her out on a date to Steak n' Shake. They went on a second, third, fourth and so on date. Before either knew, a year had passed and the summer was just around the corner. To Sinai's surprise, Aidan asked if they could be official. An item! A couple! Sinai was over the moon!

Then came a path with plenty of bumps, tunnels, flat tires, and road hazards. Sinai and Aidan laughed, fought, loved, broke up, made up, adventured, broke up again, forgave, and grew together. They made it to graduation and took their adventure to new lands - South Carolina. Toxic workplaces and toxic air quality. Country roads taking them home. Peaches galore. Farmer's markets. And dreamy trips to Greenville. Oh, Greenville. With your mountains, non-toxic air, cobblestone roads, and waterfall in the center of downtown. Aidan and Sinai loved the city so much, they even considered moving and buying a house nearby.

And so, it was January 2024. A bitter, cold, and gross winter. At least in North Augusta. Greenville was beautiful as always. Sinai was being driven crazy at her job; overworked, underappreciated, and past the point of burn out. Aidan, in his infinite love and wisdom, suggested a weekend trip with Florida friends to Greenville. "We can go shopping, walk around the park, and you can plan a spa day", said Aidan. Nature, consumerism, and self-care! All of Sinai's favorite things! Little did she know, he had a secret agenda....Everyone was in on it! Friends, family, probably the cat and bird too. Sinai didn't suspect a thing! Aidan, Jason, Alec, and Jessica were in cahoots, planning an engagement! She didn't suspect anything when Alec, Jason, and Aidan disappeared the morning of. Not a tingle of suspicion while Sinai lamented to Jessica as they got their nails done in fancy spa robes, "I just don't think Aidan will ever propose". She didn't suspect a thing when Alec took up photography as a hobby and brought a GIANT CAMERA before dinner that evening. It wasn't until Sinai tripped in her attempt to dodge duck poop in heels and nearly dumped herself and Aidan into a freezing river in the middle of winter, that she recovered and saw him down on one knee, and holding a beautiful ring. She couldn't believe it! Sinai bawled her eyes out and called everyone she knew to share the good news.

So here we are! Anxiously waiting for April 2026! The countdown begins! Aidan and Sinai are so excited and cannot wait to share a day dedicated to their love with all the friends and family they can realistically afford to invite! We love you all!
