How to get to GG's Yard:

By air:

Glasgow airport is approximately 2 hours away

Preswick airport is 1 hour 40 minutes away

Manchester airport is just over 3 hours away

By Car:

GG's Yard is on the A75.

From Dumfries, take the A75 towards Stranraer. 4 miles after you have passed Gatehouse of Fleet, you will pass a small fishing loch on your left-hand side. Take the next right turn 500 yards after the loch, you’ll see our sign on the right next to the stone wall. Follow the road for 300 metres and as it bends to the left, turn right just before the cottage on the corner. Follow the signs to the car park and to reception.

A word of warning!

On my first visit to GG's Yard I was driving from Glasgow Airport following my sat nav. It took me a very beautiful route through the countryside but most of it was single track roads so it took longer than expected and would've been very difficult in the dark. You may want to double check the different route options, I took the M74/A701 the next time and although less pretty it was a more straightforward drive!

As the venue is in a rural area (and Scotland has a drink driving limit of practically 0) taxis need to be booked well in advance. Please consider booking now as you may struggle to get one on the day.
