Isla Mujeres is a small tropical island off the coast of Cancun. It is a 5 mile long island located where the blue waters of the Caribbean Sea meet the Gulf of Mexico. Isla Mujeres is one of the eleven municipalities of the Mexican State of Quintana Roo, on the Yucatan Peninsula.

To get to Isla Mujeres, guests will have to take a flight and a ferry. Please let us know what day and time your flight is, or RSVP to the events on the home page. Guests will fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN). A taxi drive to the ferry is approximately 30 minutes. You will want to take the taxi to Ultramar Ferry in Puerto Juarez. From there, the ferry trip is 30 minutes. Once the ferry arrives on Isla... guests can take a taxi to the hotel. Information on renting golf carts or scooters during your stay are detailed in a separate Q+A. To book your flight and ferry ticket, we recommend that you use HAPPYSHUTTLECANCUN.COM This shuttle service allows you to book a taxi, ferry ride, or bundle both taxi and ferry ticket. You are able to book a round trip service with them. *PLEASE allow enough room for travel when booking flights, ferries, and taxis. *Please arrive to the airports at least 2 hours ahead of time since the flight is international.

Everyone on Isla Mujeres will accept the US Dollars or Mexico Pesos. There are many banks on the island that will allow you to exchange US dollars for Mexico pesos, up to $300USD daily. Debit and Credit cards are also accepted, but please be prepared and bring cash in situations where cards are not accepted or machines are not working. The current exchange rate its $1 USD = $20.53 MXN

No. However, breakfast is included every day of your stay. There will also be a welcome dinner on Wednesday night, as well as a post-wedding brunch on Saturday. The Oceanus Restaurant and beach club services both Casa del Jaguar and Na Balaam for food and beverages. The best way to get around the island is by taking a taxi, renting a golf cart or scooter, or walking! (there are no car rentals on the island). There are plenty of golf carts to rent, so we suggest you book them a couple weeks in advance. Playa Norte, where Casa and Na Balam are located, are in walking distance of many beach bars, restaurants and shops. If you are interested in a rental, below is our contact for golf carts and scooters. Please contact Isaac to arrange golf cart rentals.
