Please RSVP by May 21st, so we can have an accurate headcount. :)
Do I need to bring my own cup?
No, you are not required to, but reducing waste is one of our goals in planning this wedding. Therefore, if you are a local guest, we kindly ask that you bring your own cup to help limit the use of single-use plastic. :)
(Please let us know in your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.)
Are kids welcome?
Absolutely! This is a family-friendly affair—kids are welcome to eat cake, run wild, and play games. There will be something for everyone there.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors.
Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors—unless the weather decides to crash the party, then we'll move things inside!
What will the weather be like?
The best advice for weather in Lexington is to bring layers! Especially since we will be outside, plan for warm temperatures in the afternoon followed by light jacket weather by the end. Lord willing, the weather will straddle the two extremes and result in a beautiful summer evening.
If you are like Sion and find 65°F to be worthy of a jacket, definitely pack a jacket since the weather drops in the evenings. :)
Where should I park?
There is plenty of free parking at the church.
What time should I arrive?
Please be seated by 4:15pm. The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm promptly.
What does a "Church Casual" dress code mean?
We are envisioning a casual and comfortable celebration while still looking good!
For ladies, this could mean a sundress, cute shorts or skirts with a nice top, etc.
For men, this could look like shorts or slacks with a nice button up.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. I repeat, do not wear stiletto heels. The ceremony is on a field so wear chunky heels or sandals. Can't have any of you ruining nice shoes or breaking any ankles.
Men and women, please wear comfortable shoes or bring a spare pair to change into during the reception. We will have yard games!
