Q + A

How do we get there?

A few different options: 1. Driving (saves money, increased flexibility for travel times and dates, can carpool, but will take 18 hrs) 2. Flying (you can try flying into Castlegar, but it's mighty pricey, I would suggest flying into Cranbrook or Kelowna. From there I would convoy you, but you might need to rent a vehicle as Myles and I would only have room for 9 ppl between our vehicles.) ** I recommend discussing with siblings. Please keep me in the loop, I have planned to come and meet you all depending on coordination of times and dates. Obviously Phoenix your travel will look different than the Manitoban's but if you're here before them, maybe you could help Myles and I pick them up (I'd absolutely pay for your gas monies <3)

Where will we stay?

A veeerrrryyy good question lol. So, Myles and I have room for a lot of yous, but not all of us will fit in the house. My in-laws (love them to death but) they broke my air mattress so i'll have to get a new one, but when I do we'll be able to fit 10 inside the house (1 person being on the couch which is not the comfiest) We also have a 10 person tent. As of right now I am putting myself in the tent (Myles might crash at his uncles to give us more space), so I thought maybe Phoenix and Rowyn might be down to tent it with me..? We shall see. There are also hotels and air bnb's available if you're looking for some chill. **Toria and Derek: you are going to have my room if you want it, but I have no pen for Tala

What to do before/after the festival?

Since all of you would be traveling from outside my region, I want to acknowledge that coming for a weekend festival might not be so worth it. But there are other things you can do to make the trip worth it. Depending on travel arrangements (specifically flying vs driving) options vary. You're all weclome to arrive earlier and stay longer, please know that if you come early, I will have to prioritize my festival prep but we can still make time for fun! I can give recommendations for other areas of the Kootenays, Kelowna and the Okanagan, even the Shuswap and into Revelstoke. This is where planning will definitely come in to play, but if you're all out here already and you've got some time, we can go explore anywhere we wanted.
