Even though part of me feels like we always knew each other, our story began many years ago when I worked at The Valley Inn with his sister Jenna. At least once a month, Jenna would tell me about her brother’s crush on me. And i’m thinking, have I ever even met this guy? (If you’re wondering, no we’d never met!)

But then one day he hears i’m single, and he wasted no time—he messaged me on Twitter and asked if I wanted to grab coffee. Our first date was incredible! We hit it off right away, and when we finished our coffee, he surprised me by suggesting we go thrift shopping. Little did he know, coffee and thrift shopping are two of my favorite things.

Shortly after, Covid hit, and we ended up spending even more time together through the shutdown, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. It only took a few months for us to realize we each found our person.
