We always knew each other growing up. His dad was my dad's best friend from work and they would come over to my church sometimes. I remember the night that he asked me out. I tried to ask if he liked a girl and if he would date because I was catching feelings but told myself that I would never ask someone else out first. Later in the question he caught quickly and asked who was going to ask the question and I played dumb. Then leading that he asked me to be his girlfriend and I agreed. From then our relationship grew not only with each other but growing with God.
