Q + A

When should I arrive?

The ceremony will be at 10am on the dot. The doors will open for seating at 9:30am, and we recommend arriving at this time.

What should I wear?

We ask that guests please wear something semi-formal, as this is not a casual event.

What accommodations will be available for those with limited mobility?

An attendant with a golfcart will be transporting guests between the parking lot and the pier. It is recommended that any wheelchairs, walkers, etc. be brought to the event, as it is several hundred feet from the pier to the entrance. Poles prevent any vehicles from going on the pier. The venue does have elevators to go up to the second floor.

Will there be a livestream of the wedding?

At this time, we have decided not to do a livestream of the wedding due to the cost of contracting a videographer. However, we will have one or two designated guests record the ceremony for viewing after the event.

Can I take pictures or record a video during the ceremony?

We ask that you please do not take pictures or record any videos during the ceremony, as we would prefer an "unplugged" ceremony. The photographer we hired will do an excellent job at taking photos, and we will happily share those photos with anyone who would like some photos of this special moment. For a video recording, one or two guests will be designated as "videographers." We will receive a video from them after the big day, and we would also be happy to share this with anyone who would like a video recording. Thanks!

Will there be a bar?

Yes, we plan to have a bar at the wedding that serves beer, wine, and liquor.

Can I smoke or vape at the venue?

Smoking or vaping is not allowed on-site at the venue or on the pier leading up to it. However, you can smoke or vape once you are past the pier. Please do not break this rule, as we will have to pay a fee. Thank you.

Can I bring alcohol or outside food or drinks?

Outside alcohol, drinks, and food are not allowed. Please keep these items at home, as we will have to pay a fee if they are brought to the venue. Thank you.
