Our Wedding

Skye and Austin officially met in July of 2023. Both of them lived in Huntsville and had a mutual friend. That mutual friend told Austin to add Skye on Snapchat and he did. But he didn't officially reach out until 5 years later. Skye and Austin's first official date according to Skye was seeing Die Hard at the Alabama theatre during Christmas 2023. The two basically never stopped spending time after that. They realized soon into January of 2024 that this was it, this was who each of them was going to spend the rest of their life with. They also want to add that they are parents to three of the cutest fur baby kitties the world has ever seen, Buffy, Missi, and Leela.

Shelby Madalinski 

Megan and Skye have known each other  since the high school theater days. Megan enjoys goth attire and is a wonderful mom to her sweet daughter. Megan is such a fun personality. She also loves cocktails with off the wall names. Bonus points if they're named something spooky. 

Megan Barnett

Caroline has been friends with skye since first grade. We are talking 20 plus years. Caroline is an adorable cat mom and used to help Skye beat high levels in Harry Potter PC Games . Skye and Caroline spent their youth playing Barbie Magic Hair Styler, obsessing over Lizzie McGuire, and made 3 homemade movies. Ask her about the diet coke can photoshoot if you get the chance to chat. 

Caroline Weber 

Leah is Skye’s friend from Florida who worked with her at a call center. She’s strong and bright and the best doggie mom! Leah is an avid sports fan. She's a Gator Girl at heart! She makes the greatest ponche creme you could ever image for the holidays. She's also has the prettiest hair Skye's mom and Skye have ever seen. 

Leah Rodriguz 

Sarah Morgan is Skye’s friend who she met through Skye going to get facials on the regular. Sarah Morgan loves to speak in a British accent, likes clown paintings, and has a blind dog named Ozzie!  Sarah Morgan is so short and sweet with a personality of an elderly gentleman which we love. 

Sarah Morgan Freeman 

Charlotte Clare attended college with Skye. She’s literal Barbie in real life. She always checks in on her friends, is a wonderful teacher, and mom to a Pomeranian named Isla. She will be the MC/ DJ for the wedding as well. If you mention Harry Styles to her she'll be your friend for life. 

Charlotte Clare Norris 

Kati was Skye’s boss during her time at a college job. Kati has always been like a big sister to Skye. She enjoys Giallo films, all things spooky, and fashion. Kati has her own youtube channel where she makes content weekly and has for nearly 7 years. She's a proud cat mom to two cutie pies. 

Kati Andrews 

Sarah is Austin’s sister. She’s an excellent artist, loves video games, and learning about Japan.  Skye's adores Sarah and is so thrilled that she will have a sister since she is an only child and has been all her life. Sarah is sweet and spunky and loves Dolly Parton! 

Sarah Butler 

Justin is basically Skye in male form. He lives in LA and loves collecting strange things he finds at thrift stores. Skye and Justin met at the University of Montevallo, then reconnected in Huntsville in 2016. Justin loves the actress Brittany Murphy and can talk for hours about 90's movies and culture. He has the sweetest laugh and has the gift of praying the most meaningful prayers. He is Skye's Ken to her Barbie. 

Justin Allison

Austin’s “ride or die.” Whether it’s disc golf, a concert, Dungeons & Dragons, a new restaurant, or a spontaneous trip, Sam will be there—no questions asked. He is an incredible artist, pianist, and disc golfer with an unmatched passion for hot sauce.

Sam Teer

One of Austin’s earliest childhood friends and his favorite person to argue with about nothing. Brent is a lover of whiskey, Stephen King, and his and his wife’s dog, Khaleesi. He is an avid reader and can tell you anything about any movie or TV show he has ever seen.

Brent Morris

A friendship 28 years in the making. Canaan and Austin met in kindergarten, and their adventures have been nonstop—from youth basketball to homemade slip-n-slides to hitting up hot springs in Colorado. Canaan values experiences, and they’ve had plenty. A nomadic soul, he’ll go anywhere his dreams take him.



Canaan Adkins

A friendship made even stronger through ACT prep class. Jacob is uniquely himself. He and Austin can hold a conversation about anything and everything—wild business ideas, philosophy, Area 51, and music.

Jacob Frederick

Another recent addition and another strong bond. Eddie met Skye and Austin through Dungeons & Dragons, and their friendship was immediate. He has never met a stranger, is an extremely intelligent scientist, and, all around, just a really great human.



Eddie Cedeno

A recent addition but a strong friendship nonetheless. Austin met Daniel through Skye, who had been close friends with him for quite some time—but now she has to share. Daniel is a fitness and sports enthusiast, a caring friend, and, above all, a resilient person.

Daniel Matchen

A wonderful friendship forged in the hallways of high school. Austin was drawn to Kaleb’s quick-witted humor and great taste in music. If you need a laugh pulled out of thin air, he’s your guy. Kaleb enjoys good coffee, great cigars, and The Lord of the Rings.



Kaleb Findley

Another cousin and friend. Jason and Austin have bonded over countless things, from sports to working at the same company for over seven years. Jason is an encyclopedia of knowledge—whether it’s sports (literally any sport), comics, or HVAC parts.



Jason Beevis

Both cousin and friend. A bond formed through music, Dragon Ball Z, Dungeons & Dragons, and a dash of disc golf. James is multitalented—an amazing bassist, a skilled artist, and, beyond that, a wonderful father to his two children.
