Skylar and I met back in 2014 at Ponderosa High School. We shared an art class together, and throughout the semester Skylar would find any reason to come to my table and talk. By December of 2014 we had started dating, and everything just fell into place from there. After several years, it had become a joke between us that whenever we were asked when we were getting engaged, the answer was always “tomorrow”… Little did I know that in August of 2019 Skylar had planned out his proposal, and asked me to be his wife on August 31, 2019. And that leads us to this moment, only 10 years and 5 months later, when we will finally tie the knot!
