The way in which Isaiah and Skylar met is an interesting story to tell. Skylar was attending SUNY Oswego back in 2019, and she had met one of her now close friends, Emma. Emma had posted a beautiful picture of themselves together which was discovered by Isaiah. Isaiah had thought Skylar was breathtaking, so he had to reach out and talk to her. Skylar was perplexed by the sudden follow on Instagram, and she asked Emma if she knew this Isaiah Lyon to which she responded, "I went to high school with him. He's so nice!". This prompted Skylar to accept the sudden request. Isaiah then found her on Snapchat, and he started messaging her on there. They ended up speaking for weeks on end without ever meeting since Isaiah was going to school at SUNY Brockport!

Fast forward to their first time meeting each other. Skylar did not have a car at the time since she was a freshman at college and Isaiah did. They decided one weekend that Isaiah would drive all the way to Oswego and pick her up to go to Brockport for the weekend. They had the best weekend going to a festival that they had on campus and watching Hell's Kitchen together all weekend.
