The couple first met in July 2018 when Jamie found Skylar's picture on Facebook and messaged her, saying that her smile stole his heart even though he hadn’t met her yet. After a few dates, the couple made things official on August 19, 2018.

Skylar took Jamie to his first-ever Prom at Lord Botetourt High School in May 2019!

Jamie and Skylar spent a lot of time together during quarantine, especially since they had been long-distance for eight months before quarantine started!

Jamie was Skylar's date to her best friend Lexi's wedding on June 25, 2021! Which was their second wedding they had been to together!

Skylar and Jamie, before heading to the annual Stumpmas celebration on Christmas Eve, hosted by none other than Skylar's sister and brother-in-law, Whitney and Lewis!

Skylar and Jamie at George Mason University to celebrate Skylar completing her Bachelor's in Psychology and Criminology! After 3 years of long distance, they are glad to be back in the same city!

On August 19, 2024, Jamie asked Skylar to marry him on the patio of the townhome they share together! Skylar, of course, said yes!!!
