Q + A

What date should I RSVP by?

As our wedding day approaches, we kindly remind you to RSVP by August 1st, 2024. This deadline ensures an accurate headcount for our celebration. Unfortunately, responses received after this date will not be accommodated due to logistical constraints.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Please note that both our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. In late October, Asheville's weather usually ranges from the 50s to low 60s. Kindly dress warmly, especially as temperatures tend to drop later in the evening.

What is the dress code?

Please note that our dress code is black-tie. Dress comfortably and warmly, but formally, and kindly avoid jeans, flannels, t-shirts, or casual attire. Due to the outdoor ceremony on grass, we suggest avoiding extremely high heels for safety.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

As we finalize our wedding preparations, we regret to inform you that due to venue limitations, we are unable to accommodate plus ones unless specifically listed on your invitation. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

As we prepare for our wedding day, we kindly ask that children not attend unless specifically listed on your invitation. Venue limitations require us to prioritize space for our guests. We appreciate your understanding

Will there be an open bar or alcohol?

Please note that alcohol and an open bar will not be provided at our ceremony or reception. We kindly ask all guests to refrain from bringing alcohol into the venue, as this will not be allowed or tolerated. Your cooperation in respecting this policy is greatly appreciated as we strive to ensure a safe and enjoyable evening for all.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 203 Firewheel Court Summerville, SC 29486. We also have a registry linked to this website. For those who wish to support us in funding our honeymoon or investing in our future home, your contributions would be deeply appreciated.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Please plan to arrive at the venue 20-30 minutes before our ceremony begins promptly at 2:00 PM EST. No early or late arrivals will be admitted. Parking is available onsite, but we kindly ask that you consider carpooling to save space.

Can I post photos on social media of the wedding/Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We've hired a talented professional couple to capture our day beautifully. They'll handle all the hard work, ensuring our guests can be fully present without worrying about photos. Please refrain from posting photos until we do, and kindly respect our son's privacy by avoiding posting any photos that capture his face. During the ceremony, we're hosting an unplugged event. Phones away, please, except for a brief moment we've set aside for a photo. After that, we'd appreciate no further photography from our guests.

I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?

Feel free to reach out to the maid of honor, Alexandra, with any questions or concerns. You can contact her via text at (417)-598-2539. Please refrain from calling her, as she prefer's text communication. Kindly allow her adequate time to respond and be respectful of her schedule.
