Our Wedding

We met at the University of Delaware at a party in the towers. All our friends told us we were basically the male and female versions of each other, probably because we are clearly the funniest, prettiest and all around best people they know. At the time we laughed it off and just went about our days being friends. Then came the summer of 2019. Skylar went back home to Rochester as she did every year but this time we talked to each other almost everyday and were excited to see each other at the start of the next semester. This is where the moms came in. During a homecoming tailgate party our moms took it upon themselves to do some matchmaking and start planning our future together. If you ask them they will take all of the credit for the entire relationship. With a quick trip to the cheesecake factory, (not a date according to Skylar) and a pile of fried cheese we finally fell for each other. We started dating shortly after and never looked back.&nbsp; After graduation Skylar moved back to Rochester and Jimmie stayed around Philadelphia. Long distance was not fun but we made it work. Almost as if it was planned, Skylar was accepted into Temple’s PA program back in Philadelphia. After a year back in the same area we decided to take the leap and move into together, and our friend Brittany. Almost instantly we adopted our two kittens Rocco and Rue. After a special trip to Costa Rica, a crazy tour guide, belly scratching sloth, oh and a beautiful waterfall proposal we came back home engaged ready to start our future together. We would love to thank everybody and anybody who are here to celebrate this marriage with us and look forward to the many many years of love with all our family, friends and pets.
