Our Wedding

Cody and Skylar met in the summer of 2021. Never did they think their paths would ever cross as Skylar lived in Seabrook, Tx at the time and Cody lived in the Woodlands, Tx. While attending a family gathering on Cody’s side, Skylar attended as a family friend to his cousin!  After meeting, Cody and Skylar instantly fell for one another and hearts started to flutter.  Skylar would visit Cody every weekend for months on end as their relationship served long distance, until… After months of patiently waiting, Skylar and Cody decided it was time for her to move across the city to be with Cody in the Woodlands. Here they sparked the interest of traveling and being outdoors.  After living in the woodlands for a little over a year, Cody took Skylar to Colorado for the first time!  Here he took her on the edge of a beautiful cliff looking over the mountains and dropped to one knee to ask her to marry him.  After returning from Colorado and celebrating their engagement, with some time they decided to move to another state and plan their lives.  Here they have been very blessed by their lord and all the blessing they have received in the new state of Colorado they call home. Cody and Skylar plan on celebrating their marriage in Boulder, CO 2025 and will hold a reception the following year; 2026 in Texas for those unable to attend this year.
