Skyler was at Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac. Hanging out with some of his buddies, when one of his friends had his girlfriend come out. His girlfriend came out to the park with some other friends. One which was Samantha. Skyler vagally remembers this. But, Samantha said to him "Aren't you cold!?" Skyler then answered "No, I'm never cold." Then, that was where it left off. Skyler then asked his buddy who had the girlfriend who was that girl and could he get her Snap(like phone number/social platform). And that is pretty much the rest of that story.

Skyler was sneaky on the whole proposal. Skyler bought a ring in September when he was on drill that he had to make up for missing due to his buddies wedding(Joe which is standing up). Skyler said "I'm going to look at guns after he was done for the day." Which he bought the ring then. (He also did buy a gun the next day cause he wanted a gift for himself, too) On the way home Skyler contacted a close couple to them. They then set up the Copper Falls trip in November. Samantha had zero clue on the ring, cause we said it was a couples anniversary trip cause both their anniversaries are close together. They all went up north which was supposed to be all fall colors but Skyler forgot that up north is two or so weeks ahead of down south. SO, there wasn't any colors but it did snow. So we had a Snowy, Woody, Waterfally, Proposal.
