Q + A

What should I wear?

Ladies should wear floor length dresses and heels (any height). Style of dress (including cut outs) are fine. Please think classy if opting for cut out dresses. Reach out if questions arise. Men should wear nice slacks with a blazer, sport coat, or suit. No jeans, no work boots. We ask that you please respect our dress code as we want everyone to look incredible in the photos that we will have for years to come! We understand it will be hot; however we will be inside during the hottest portions of the day. Furthermore, men are welcome to take their jackets off as the evening goes on, and ladies can wear lighter fabrics that are sensible to the occasion (no sheer/see through please).

What will the weather be like this time of year?

The hottest period of the day will be when we are inside. 11am-2pm can have highs of 100s. The weather begins cooling around 5 pm to the 80s. By nightfall, the weather is in the 70s.

What happens after the Ceremony?

For a detail schedule, see the home page. After the ceremony, guests are encouraged to roam the gardens and enjoy the museum. The ticket for the gardens is included. We find the gardens to be incredibly beautiful this time of year. So. while the bridal party and family are taking their pictures, please enjoy! We will meet at the Annuals Pavillion for the Reception at 5 pm.

Is there a theme?

Think Italian. We encourage guests to wear the following colors: yellow gold purples - any shade but neon greens - any shade but neon

Are there other events I can attend?

We are limited for space and have a set list for official wedding related events that will be included in the invite itself for all relevant invitees. We plan on having events a few days prior. If you find yourself in Denver during that time, please reach out to the bride and groom to be included.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Kindly respond No to the RSVP and Text us.

How do I get to the venue?

We encourage everyone to uber or lyft. Parking for the ceremony is street parking and first come first serve. For everyone to be on time, uber and lyft are the best options. If you are sober or have a designated driver, there is a parking lot for the reception. Walking from the ceremony to the gardens is less than 15 minutes for those that chose to uber/lyft.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the ceremony. That is 1:45 pm. Anyone arriving after 1:55 pm will run the risk of not having a seat. 2:00 pm is the reserved cutoff for family only. This is to ensure everyone is settled for the priest, the choir, and the photographer to diligently do their roles.

Are kids welcome?

Only immediate family member's children are allowed at the ceremony. After the ceremony, kids will be sent with a certified baby sitter until 9 PM.

Can I bring a date?

Invitations will include all names of those invited to the wedding. Please do not reach out to us for additional names. We have taken everything into consideration and had many conversations about who is invited. Due to limited space and large families, we are limited to who is invited. If additional personnel show up to the wedding and their names were not on the invites, they will be turned away.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

At this time we do not, please check back to the travel page. We encourage you to book flights now to avoid surcharges. The area to search for is Cheesman Park. The closer to the Botanic Gardens the better. Air Bnbs and boutique hotels are abundant to our location. If you go ahead and book at your desired location, we encourage you to. We want you to be comfortable at your own discretion.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP as soon as possible and no later than March 31, 2024.

Are the ceremony and reception ADA/wheelchair accessible?

Yes. If you have someone in the invite needing accommodations for such access, please let us know so we can usher them in the right direction.

Will there be food or drinks?

Food will not be served until 6 pm. Drinks will start at 5 pm. Hors d'oeuvres are to be determined. Until then, plan to be full until 6 pm.

Will there be dietary options?

Please check back for a final menu. We are working on incorporating dietary restrictions.

Where are you registered?

Please see the registry tab.

Will transportation be provided?

No.

May I take a centerpiece/ candle/ decor home for a souvenir?

At this time, No. Pieces may be rented. Therefore, we ask that you respect rental policies and allow us to return all items to the provider and avoid any fees.

What is the phone policy?

NO PHONES during the ceremony or reception. We will have designated bridal party members only that are allowed to take photos and videos of the event. If you would like a photo with the bride and groom later, of course you can ask! This is to ensure the photographer can do her job without any issues from cell phones being used. Please respect our wishes and help us avoid any fees or curfufles.

I started dating someone and I'd like them to come?

If you have been in a relationship with someone for less than 6 months and/or they are not named in the invite, they are not invited. Again, we have included all invitees in the invitation by name. We are limited. Please understand that. We want you there because we love you and want to share our special moment with you! We are so happy for you and would love to meet this special person at a later date!

I still have questions?

Please text us! Calls are hard due to spam and the amount of vendors we have reached out to. Often our voicemails are full. Text is the best way to ensure a prompt response.
