Our Wedding

Please park here to be greeted before walking to the church. There is no parking at the church. If you are staying at the Farmhouse with us, you have a separate entrance and parking area. Please note, the Farmhouse is private; only guests staying can access it. The Tythe Barn and Cowshed are open to all guests.

Our Story:

September 2016:&nbsp;We met at Oxford Brookes University during our PGCE year. In October, we were assigned the same placement school - Combe - where we grew to become friends having lunch together every day in-between classes.

February 2019:&nbsp;After not just months, but years of friendship, we went on our first official date: a trip to Durdle Door. This was the start of this special journey!

March 2020:&nbsp;After dating with distance from Wiltshire to Oxfordshire, COVID-19 hit. We knew we couldn't be apart so Fia moved in with Frank to spend 'lock down' together. We knew this would be make or break!

September 2021:&nbsp;We moved into our new house in Launton - where little did we know we would be getting married just down the road!

April 2023:&nbsp;Frank proposed on the cliff tops in Devon with Fia's mum and dad waiting on the beach below. A proposal so delicately planned to which Fia happily said yes!

Fia met her best friend, Ella, at secondary school and they have been inseparable ever since. Ella is the life and soul of the party and the pair have shared many milestones together. Ella is a rock for Fia, the first person she would call in a crisis and the perfect person to be by Fia's side at her wedding.

Best friend turned best man, Frank and Henry go right back to the very start being friends since primary school, spending all their time playing and watching football together. As they have shared so many experiences, Henry was always going to be Frank’s best man. A genuinely great guy who is dependable and never lets you down.

Soph also went to secondary school with Fia, where they boarded together. While living in the rooms next door to each other, they became more like sisters. They have spent over half their lives creating special memories, and will continue to do so until they are grey and old! Soph was a clear choice for a bridesmaid!

Choppy and Frank grew up as neighbours on the same street, spending the majority of their childhood together. Choppy is ‘like a brother’ to Frank always walking into Frank’s parents’ house like Smithy. A member of the Harrison family and a great choice for an usher.

Iona is Fia's longest childhood friend and fellow foodie! When they were 5 years old, they met at prep school and now it is clear they are friends for life. The pair bonded over Britney Spears and were often found making 'potions' in Fia's bathroom! They have shared so many memories together and cannot wait to add their weddings to the list!

Sherbs and Frank met at secondary school and struck a close bond quickly. They share a love of sport, beer and sitcoms, constantly rolling off quotes. A genuinely great guy, having Sherbs as part of the wedding is an honour and he is delighted to be part of our special day.

After both applying for Camp America, Charlie and Fia met in 2015. Two total strangers. Little did they know this would be the start of such a true and important friendship. Charlie is Fia's biggest supporter; he is a total ray of sunshine. He gets married a few months after Fia and they couldn't be happier for each other.
