We have known each other for longer than we can even remember. Since our parents attended the same church since before we were born, we technically can say we've known each other our whole lives! :) However, we did not start becoming friends until October of 2019. We started messaging each other on Instagram, eventually got each others numbers, and started hanging out with mainly Samuel's friend group at Lakepointe Church every Saturday night. After about 2 years and 4 separate discussions with my father, Samuel was finally able to ask me to be his girlfriend, August 14th, 2021. We basically spent all of senior year together after that! In August of 2022, for our 1 year of dating anniversary, Samuel gave me a promise ring and promised to replace it one day with an engagement ring. This ring has always meant a lot to me as it reminded me that Samuel's intention with our relationship was marriage. Samuel followed up on that promise on March 7th, 2025, 3 years later! Through me starting (and finishing) college, Samuel starting a full time job, and general life changes, we stuck by each others side. It has been a long dating journey, but we would not trade it for the world. We were incredibly blessed to have found each other so early in life. We are more than excited to enter into this season of life together and genuinely live life together. We are so thankful for everyone in our lives who have supported, loved, and encouraged us.
