Our Wedding

Our story began in 7th grade at Mater Academy in Hialeah, where we sat just a table apart in Physical Science class. We didn’t know it then, but that was the start of something special. Fast forward to 9th grade—after months of shy glances and inside jokes, a school trip to Orlando in May sealed the deal. We spent the whole trip flirting, and by October 10, 2018, we finally made it official. 		Through the years, we’ve grown together, learning how to navigate life’s ups and downs side by side. In October 2024, we welcomed a new member to our little family—our beagle, Ringo. Just two months later, in December, we got engaged during a Paul McCartney concert in London—because what better way to say "I love you" than with a Beatle playing in the background? 		Now, here we are, celebrating our wedding on the same day we first became a couple, ready for this next chapter together.

Our Journey: From Classmates to Soulmates

It was December 18th, 2024, and Bryan woke up with one simple thought: Today is the day I’m going to propose to Sofia. It wasn’t something he had been planning for months—it just clicked that morning. Fortunately, Sofia was in the mood to sleep in, giving Bryan the perfect window of time to get everything ready. He rushed out to get the ring, some flowers, and of course, breakfast, all while promising Sofia he’d be back soon with something special. When Sofia finally woke up, she was greeted with flowers and breakfast from a popular spot. They spent the day exploring London, soaking in the sights, and just enjoying each other's company. Little did Sofia know, Bryan had already secretly called both their fathers to share the exciting news as they were getting ready to leave for the arena. That evening, they headed to the Paul McCartney concert—a special place for them, as his music had always been a big part of their connection. As the night went on, Bryan’s nerves were getting the best of him. You could literally see it on his face! But when Paul McCartney began playing Sofia’s favorite song, “My Valentine,” Bryan knew it was time. As he dropped down to one knee, though, his nerves got the best of him again—this time in the form of a cramp! If you listen closely to the video Sofia was taking, you can hear Bryan grunt as he tried to fight through it. Luckily, he recovered just in time and popped the question right before the song ended—will you marry me? Sofia, of course, said yes, and in that moment, with "My Valentine" playing and the world buzzing around them, they took the next step in their forever.
