I'm flying in. What airport should I fly into?
The closest airport to San Juan Capistrano is John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Santa Ana.
You can also fly into San Diego International Airport (SAN) or Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which are each about a 1.5-hour drive to San Juan Capistrano.
Is there parking?
Yes, there is parking at the venue, but it is also shared with the restaurant, so please arrive on time to reserve a spot. There are 70 spots in the restaurant parking lot. We highly recommend carpooling with others and do take traffic into account.
If the lot is full, El Adobe suggested parking at the lot adjacent to the venue that is at a plaza.
One fun option is to take the Metrolink to San Juan Capistrano station. It is a 4-minute walk to our wedding venue, El Adobe de Capistrano. Just hop on the Inland Empire/OC Line or the Ventura County Line. Find ticket prices here: https://metrolinktrains.com/ticketsOverview/ticket-info/price-finder/. Please note, all rail movement has been stopped indefinitely through the San Clemente area. Weekday trains will only operate as far south as the Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo Station until further notice, while weekend trains will operate to and from San Juan Capistrano.
You can also take the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train and arrive at the San Juan Capistrano Station. For tickets, visit https://www.amtrak.com/home.html.
Will transportation be provided?
Unfortunately, there will be no transportation.
What is the dress code?
Semi-formal or cocktail attire. The wedding colors are black and white.
