If you are looking to take a walk on Saturday or Sunday morning, we recommend the following walks/trails: Canal Walk, Buttermilk Trail, North Bank Trail, Capital Trail, Belle Isle Trail.

If you are looking for something that does not require you to be outside, we suggest visiting some of our local museums, and our favorite is the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA), but there are many more such as the Virginia Institute of Contemporary Art, The Valentine, The Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia,
