Visit the number one visited attraction in Charleston and purchase locally made baskets and artwork. Afterward checkout the Vendue rooftop bar for a beautiful view of Charleston Harbor and the Ravenel Bridge. RuRu's Mexican Restaurant on East Bay St has wonderful happy hours and is right by the market. If you want Oysters on the half shell, make sure to stop at Perlz as well.

Walk across the longest cable stayed bridge in North America. For the easiest parking, head to Waterfront Park in Mount Pleasant, near the Visitor Center. From there, you'll be able to find the pedestrian path easily.

Check out the largest Live Oak Tree east of the Mississippi estimating to be 300 to 400 years old. The tree attracts over 400,000 visitors a year and is definitely unlike any tree you have seen before. Stop here before or after your visit to Folly Pier.

Shem Creek park is a must see for waterfront restaurants, shrimp boats and a boardwalk that offers spectacular sunsets. Here you can rent kayaks or paddleboards, watch dolphins, enjoy a drink at Saltwater Cowboys, Reds or any of the restaurants that line the creek.

Check out new Folly Pier that re opened to the public on December 26, 2022. It has been a centerpiece of this fun beach town throughout its history and it offers rod rentals, a gift and tackle shop, ice cream and snacks are available along with restrooms/showers. The beach is big and in October it's not too crowded!!
