We would recommend flying in the day before the beach event i.e. Thursday the 10th as the beach party starts in the morning. As for departure we're hosting an evening event on the sunday so we would suggest staying until the Monday.

Think in the direction of linen suits for men and light flowy summer dresses for ladies, would highly recommend you girls to NOT wear stilettos. Boys - hats are obviously allowed if one feels like it :)

Catania lies closest to all events. The most beautiful places are outside of the city of course but transfers will only pickup a handful of locations either in Catania or close to the bridal party hotel (Donna Carmela).

We would definitely recommend hiring a car if you're staying for more than the wedding itself as it's the easiest way to explore the island's many (but scattered) sights.

Taxis can be relatively expensive from the airport if you're some distance away but to Catania it's OK. Might also be worth asking what the hotel charges for transfer (ours charged less than taxis). Ubers were relatively difficult to order when we last visited but are available. There are also buses to Catania and other major destinations.

Normally cards are accepted everywhere, but taxis and smaller shops still rely on cash - especially to avoid having to stop by ATMs if you're going somewhere.

Transfers are still TBC in terms of pickup times and locations. However as a concept there will be buses to and from Donna Carmela and adjacent hotels and to and from central Catania on the wedding day. On the beach day we anticipate everyone will be able to organise transfers themselves as it's relatively close to all hotels. We encourage pooling together getting larger cars. Some hotels are also walking distance. Day 3 transfers are TBC.

They are adorable but in this case children will generally not be accommodated as it won't be appropriate in the various venues. Please let us know if you have any questions.
